Hey guys!
I have a rather curious problem with bluetooth. Stand-alone dongles which I connect via usb work perfectly well.
hcitool scan
works fine and I can connect using
bluetooth-applet
,
blueman-applet
, etc. However, my inbuilt bluetooth doesn't work at all.
lsusb
turns up
Bus 002 Device 004: ID 0db0:3801 Micro Star International Motorola Bluetooth 2.1+EDR Device
and
hcitool scan
appears to work, but turns up nothing at all (Just "Scanning..."). In addition, I can't find the laptop using other devices (even though it's set to "Discoverable").
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
