#4 Feedback & Suggestions » The redirection in 'Mark this forum as read' » 2015-03-10 16:10:05

This is just a thought I have regarding the redirection when I push the 'Mark this forum as read'. When I push it I am finish reading and looking through the topics in the sub section and want to move up and back to the Index page. It does what it says and it does what it is supposed to do: Mark the forum as read and removing the marks. But after that I always end up with pressing the index button to get me up a level. There may be a reason for the way it works today, that I don't know of. But to me it seems a bit odd that it stays in the same subsection after you have pressed the 'Mark this forum as read'.

Is there anybody else here who have any thoughts about this subject? Or is it just me who are locked in a habit and doesn't notice the logic in it?   8)

Hi there

Go to http://support.amd.com/en-us/download and you will probably find the correct driver. You will end up downloading a *.run file. The easiest way is just right-click on it and choose execute.

@hhh: Strange thing this google thing hmm I believe I've read something about them researching on artificial intelligence yikes But there seems to be a long way to go. Now I'm actually considering giving startpage a chance (in some peoples eyes that is actually a smart move by google). The link works here hmm

@Sector11: Thanks smile  TinEye was new to me. Nice one!! I do believe google has a plan for giving me that link as well  lol BTW: did you see what I just wrote? Me > startpage  big_smile

#12 Re: Help & Support (Crunchbang 11 "Waldorf") » How to copy X drivers and settings from one install to another » 2015-02-25 19:33:34

Like Head_on_a_Stick just wrote. And a good place to start looking for answers is to examine the ~/.xsession-errors file on your broken system. And see what errors you get when trying to start x from tty1 on your broken system with:

sudo service slim start

If the errors you get don't give you any clues, just post them here. Then there is at least a chance that someone here maybe could get a clue on what the problem is smile
