Is it possible to get like a useless gap feature going with openbox?

Sort of like how you can get screen edge resistence?

 <margins>
    <top>30</top>
    <bottom>10</bottom>
    <left>10</left>
    <right>10</right>
  </margins>

Or a way to have certain apprs always open in same position?

thanks #!

Ah I hated thi sproblem. I notice I get it due to having another computer in my room with same wireless adaptor. Haven't had the problem in a couple months. I know I just try to flush everything I can. Good luck.

Like one time i turned off my main pc and left the othe ron. then reboot it then won't come on again. but always works on my crapper machine which has same exact wifi adaptor. it's confusing and annoying.

#12 Re: Help & Support (Testing/Unstable) » Need for a Debian testing w Openbox » 2014-09-03 18:24:09

I never had an issue with just upgrading to jessie. now i just go for debian netinstall and --no-install-recommends tostay clean.
never really used the #! sources list. always changed asap.

they have debian netinstall with jessie sources now.

I couldn't even figure out how to open any apps with thi sone. minus terminal. I don't think I am meant for tiling WM's perhaps. I wanted to give it a go. It looked pretty. Never sure how people get tiling with some space apart from each window either.

#18 Re: Help & Support (Crunchbang 11 "Waldorf") » [SOLVED]Will CrunchBang break if I install Xfce? » 2014-08-24 03:18:37

xfce is one of the easier ones to install. gets alone well with #! or open box as well. gl. it's my fav DE.

It won't mess it up. it's another session. plus uses different apps. xfce has its own theme selector.

#19 Re: Help & Support (Crunchbang 11 "Waldorf") » [Solved]Right click closing terminator. » 2014-08-23 21:10:15

Happens to me when I used it. I think it is font related. certain terminal fonts would do it. But if i used monospace or something. It wouldnt.

It only happened when I used hotkey btw. If I open via openbox menu. It was fine.

#25 Re: Tips, Tricks & Scripts » Script to update CrunchBang » 2014-08-15 15:16:09

Is it possible to go back to older version? I have the package. But if I remove the most recent it pretty much takes my whole system with it.
