I tought he was really dead... 8) But, these are good news!
So, there's no safe places on the interwebbz, not even in this tiny, lovely CB-world... I'm so sad... But I hope, that creepy little cracker (or team) cannot do anything wrong with the CB repos!
Please try Faenza-Ambiance, Faenza-Dark, or Faenza-Darkest theme instead of the standard Faenza theme. U can download it from here:

Not sure if you guys have heard of OSFirstTimer (a Youtube Channel with over 9,000 subscribers) but we have tried out a bunch of operating systems through history from 1984-2013. Whether it's Mac, Windows, Linux distros or even beta OS's we try them out by attempting to perform day to day tasks on them and comment on how easy it is to work with the system.
Here's our CrunchBang Linux 11 Review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SEc3wnO60o
Hope you guys like it
I like your vids boy, keep up the good work!
By the way, once, when my girlfriend tried my Crunchbang-lappy, the first thing she told me, was: "where's, the menu, or the dock?"... She's using a Linux Mint 13 Mate edition on her PC (thank's to me...) with Mate panel on top, and Docky on bottom.
I think, most of the people automaticaly thinking in Windows XP way, when trying out a new interface.. That's not the user's fault.. In the present still not many schools teaching the next generation, to learn using a computer.. They(the schools) teaching the next generation to use a "Microsoft Windows installed" computer... That's the major problem..
4. Open your machine and clip the wires to the speaker. (seriously! I considered this before the blacklist finally worked)
Man!! It was epic!!!!!..... :-D
crunchbang you say? ...never heard of it.
It sounds dangerously unstable to me so i would steer clear if i were you.

rightclick on your desktop->in your default menu select the settings->Openbox->edit autostart.sh, then when the texteditor opens, add these lines to the end of the script:

just open it in a new tab, and save them! I took them yesterday afternoon with my Olimpus CAM, and made some modifications in GIMP....
Chears!!!!
@Nestor
Where did you get those awesome systray iconz?!?!?!?!!? Plíííííííízz tell it!
Szép munka Kexo!
Welcome, and don't forget to take a look at the threads below, because they are usefull!!:
With Openbox, you have a lot of possibilities..... :-D
^ It rocks because I'm doing this:
feh -g 160x120 --slideshow-delay 60 -B black -r -z ~/Main_Image_Directory_With_Folders
Then I drag the window to where I want it, set it to always on top and visible on all desktops, and then remove decorations. Very nice
Or use the "-x" parameter and then use Alt-Space to get to "move" and drag the window, and then use Alt-Space to set always on top and visible on all desktops.
I've not set these as default for feh in rc.xml or anything, because at other times when I run feh I will probably not want these settings.
Or you can add some lines like this to your rc.xml, with the modifications you need...
And feh will start right on the place you want, without decorations...
<application name="feh">
<decor>no</decor>
<fullscreen>no</fullscreen>
<skip_taskbar>yes</skip_taskbar>
<skip_pager>yes</skip_pager>
<position force="yes">
<x>0</x> ##type the place U want here
<y>0</y> ## and here
</position>
</application>
And if you ran out of gushing, and the loving thingz, here's the most lovely, and most helpful community I ever saw, and ever been a part of... So stay here! Welcome to the "bright" side!! I mean bright black :-D
@orionthehunter:
I think the lot of the annoying things in my Unity box, are becouse I use the 12.04 Alpha2.. Before I did the upgrade from 11.10, I had less bugz, but I was so curious... So, I think the stable release will be good. And I must say, In this pre-pre-pre alpha release, there's a few bugs only:
-my volume controlling touch buttons are unuseable
-some not much, but a little annoying application crashes
-the launcher minimise/reveal things are not realy stable
And that's all...
So, I think, I like Unity, but in my heart I will always be a Crunchbanger.....
I think I will convert my Ubuntu to Lubuntu, then I can have Ubuntu One, Ubuntu One Music Store, and Openbox in one hand.... And of course I can Crunchify my Lubuntu... :-D
You'll hate me for this, but I hopped a while to Ubuntu 12.04 just to taste a little Unity....
But I think I'll return to CB soon again... I like the Ubuntu One Music Store, but I realy miss the breath like ease of the Openbox and the minimal Debian system.... Many thingz in Unity are annoying, and I think I cry back my Box...... :-D
Cheers!
My screens, first one is clean without any windows, second has a thunar and term window to show OB/GTK/Icon themes. Can post tint2/conky configs and gtk/ob themes aswell.
First submission to forum, go easy on a bruva.
Thank you for using my wallpaper!!!! :-D
Cacaó-White Suite Snapshoot...
The OpenBox window buttons......
Yes, yet another GTK2/Openbox/Tint2/Conky/Wallpaper--pack of mine...
It's in work progress..
The wallpaper: is almost done,
The OBtheme is done.
The GTK2 theme: needs a lot of pimping(scrollbars, buttons, menubar skin)...
The Tint2: ... hmmmm maybe I'll switch it to a minimal, but more skinnable lxpanel just for the fun of this theme...
The iconz: ACYL brown colored
Conky: not yet... I'm on thinking about a pure text based conky, or a vertical bar based conky in the bottom right corner...(resolution independent ovcorz).....
CB on a MacBook? hm.... I think hes got the madness (in good sense of the word) to be a part of this community.......
By the way, Crunchbang is in everyday usage for the most of the people here, so no problem with CB on a MB...
Finaly: Welcome In the large and expanding community of Crunchbang @danneu!
nice and minimal Man!!!!!!!!
