Salut!!! Hello!

Hello #! peoples,

I am still new to Linux, but, I am proud to say Linux has been the only system in our house for over a year! I have become a big fan of Debian based Distros.  I started out with Ubuntu and have been working towards a more minimalistic, adaptable, demi-spartan distro and I have come to love #!. Even my wife likes it, and it was h3ll to start her away from Windows.  (She has become quite the fledgling linux nerd big_smile )

I work in the Legal Field, all the programs most firms use is so darn expensive and annoying, but I seem to have a rather stress free ability to do the same job with FLOSS. I have not tweaked out my #! installs yet to meet the Legal demands of my life, but I am sure I eventually will. Right now OO.o is perfectly the only thing of importance. wink

I LOVE, love, love love music! Still trying to get my new install tweaked for my music NEEDS.

Lastly, I would love to help out #! but, I am soooo not programming oriented and like every one else, the global economy is kicking my family's butt right now so big, fat financial donations are out of the window (For now anyways). So, I have decided to hop on the the forums, and contribute what little knowledge and experience I have to those in this nice little community. Hopefully that is acceptable.

I look forward to lots of conversations with you all.

Re: Salut!!! Hello!

Thank you both!
@vrkalak: How is NM? I spent a couple years down in Clovis and Alamogordo. About the wife, about a week ago she was talking to her best friend and telling her what Linux was and how she should try it out. She even caught herself in a self described "need to distro hop."

Re: Salut!!! Hello!

Nice.  I wish I could get my wife interested.
