why does my smplayer look like this?(screenie)

I set it to take the gtk theme, but it looks like this:
tNThkaw

am I missing some gtk libraries?
any suggestions much appreciated.

Have you run qtconfig and set it use your GTK theme? If you did and it didn't work, try running this in a terminal then changing the theme:

export GTK2_RC_FILES="$HOME/.gtkrc-2.0" && qtconfig

no go.

even after running

export GTK2_RC_FILES="$HOME/.gtkrc-2.0" && qtconfig

qtconfig blends with rest of the theme, after I save it open it again, it's back non-themed blah layout. it has no effect on smplayer.



EDIT: nevermind, I tweaked trolltech.conf, whatever that is wink, and it's much better now.
