Change of Window manager style causes X to fail

I would also like to add a bug. I am using the amd64 xfce statler 2 version. When I use the window manager option under settings in the main menu to change the window manager style, certain choices terminate the x server to gdm. After this happens I can't login until i remove the .gnome and other setting folders. I am not sure how to fix this bug.
