making a windows usb installer from linux

Hi all,

I've been trying to figure out how to install windows xp from a usb stick for a friends' netbook but I can't seem to make it work from my linux machines. All of the windows live usb solutions I've found don't seem to work from my linux/wine environment. I'm on a netbook also but I have an image of the xp pro install cd. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Devin

Re: making a windows usb installer from linux

I've seen both those posts previously and all of the windows utilities for migrating a cd to a usb stick have failed for me in wine
