2 thoughts for corenominal (not #!-related)

Hi corenominal, just two random informations I happened to find per chance:

- On the crunchbanglinux.org start page, you might want to change the link for "openbox window manager" to http://openbox.org instead of http://icculus.org/openbox/index.php/Main_Page.

- This forum is run on punbb, right? I did have a punbb forum myself a while ago, and recently, when I was thinking about setting up another forum, I had a look at that project again. They had a fork (long story), and now there is http://punbb.org and http://fluxbb.org . To me, fluxbb looks more promising with a 1.4 release being in preparation. I just thought you might like to know, fluxbb seems worth keeping an eye on for one wanting to continue in the punbb-lineage, just in case you were not aware of the fork.

Regards, and keep up the good work!

Bernhard

Fixed, thank you for reporting this. I noticed the Openbox domain switched a couple of months ago, but I totally forgot to update the linkage on this site. I am sure there are a whole bunch of links to the old domain. When I get chance, I will try and run some grep commands on any static pages. I will also try to update any dynamic content as and when I come across it. smile

I have been keeping an eye on fluxbb for a while, it looks like a great project. When 1.4 is released, I will take another look at it with regards to moving the CrunchBang forums over. I noticed the Arch Linux forums now use fluxbb too, so it must be good! smile

Happy to :-)

While we are talking about the starting page - I also noticed that the HTML-Title says "CrunchBang Linux - A nimble Openbox Linux distro" - with Statler on the way, this might change in the future, probably.

BTW, I am very happy and thankful about the announced changes (to Debian and to Xfce as the default) and I am much looking forward to the alpha :-)
