Hi,
i tested #! and, as i use chrome as main browser, noticed that annoying flickering. Is it possible to fix this (and have compositing enabled)?
Maybe someone tested the newest beta?
This should be some sort of update-report thread, because i have xfce now installed. So if anyone find any progress with chrome and openbox, please report...

Try changing Chrome/Chromium preferences so it uses the Openbox titlebars and see if it still flickers:

I tried that-it was better, but then it looks ugly to me... I like chrome theme because it occupies less space on dell mini 10 screen

If you need the space, you could just turn off window decorations for Chrome. Right-click the titlebar and select Un/Decorate.

I think i can not find that option-what do you mean by title bar (where to find it)? Is that some openbox option? I use now xfce-can i see it in xfce?

You have any screenshot how it looks with that option? Any experience how fast the browser is/how much it flickers?

Nice-maximize/minimize tabs are available? Flickering and blinking still there (you are using system theme)?
Thanks

Yeah those are gone when you run a window undecorated. You could just use shortcuts though.
