(solved) new chrunchbang ?

i am very satisfied with the current version of #!, however i have few questions :
-will there be a new release of crunchbang (ubuntu/debian based..) before oct 2010 (i.e before jaunty dies...) ??
-will it be possible to upgrade to the newer release from the current installed #! or one will have to make a fresh install ??

i know its tough to answer at this stage but i am just curious !!

There is no answer. No one knows. Corenominal is limited in the time he has to devote to the distro, and I believe he has pondered a switch to Debian. Upgrading is contingent on which disto is used as a base. There is just no way to know at this point.
