CDROM problems.[SOLVED]

When I had first started with #!, it was with #! intrepid. Loved the ditro, but I had one problem I couldn't solve. When I would insert a CD, wether it be a blank CD or not, the computer simply wouldn't recognize it. I basically had to switch to my Linux Mint partition just to burn, or read CDs. I ended up staying with Mint until I saw the new #! out, so I decided to fresh install that. All has been well, no problems, until today. When I put in a cd, again blank or not, my computer doesn't even acknowledge it's there. The CD spins, but it doesn't show up in thunar or pcmanfm. Within the past week or so, the last time I burned a CD, this wasn't a problem. Today I decided to burn a distro and this problem came up. ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Re: CDROM problems.[SOLVED]

Uberbdon, I struck the same thing twice on my machine so uninstalled. Thanks for the hope, I'll have another crack. For me I think it came about after I pushed the physical real life eject button on my drive, Has it happened again?
