Hi everybody,
Just installed Crunchbang, it seems awesome! The distro I was looking for so many years!!
Anyway, everything works perfectly, the only problem I experienced so far is that the resolution (1920x1080) is too high for my 12.5" screen. The font is barely readable, the mouse pointer is too tiny and the window buttons are so small that makes it really difficult to click on.
So, first thing that came to my mind was to set a different resolution, but I am not sure if this is the best approach to solve the problem. Maybe I could just increase the font, pointer and window buttons size...
Any thoughts or information would be welcome!!

Hello silvioskijj, welcome to #!
Full HD on a 12.5" screen must look ace -- you can change the res. using arandr but I would just up the font size & choose a theme with big buttons (or use PekWM & draw your own buttons).

Welcome!
And you could always make the DPI smaller...
I have tasted the flesh of fallen angels...

...DPI is the key!
it's in $HOME/.Xresources, looks like this:
Xft.autohint: 1
Xft.antialias: 1
Xft.hinting: 1
Xft.hintstyle: hintfull
Xft.dpi: 96
Xft.rgba: rgb
Xft.lcdfilter: lcddefaultbut i think for you the number has to be larger... just try it, log out/in to see results.

Thank you so much for your answers!!
I modified the dpi and it worked like a charm! Thank you, do you have any suggestions on a simple but cool big buttons theme?

buttons?
buttons are usually up to the gtk theme, but they should be getting bigger with a bigger font.
or do you mean icons?
do you mean the mouse pointer?
anyhow, check out http://gnome-look.org/

Changing the DPI does not affect the tint2 bar's time, also

Yep, no problem for that. I already modified tint2rc.

You are right, the actual area where the buttons are is bigger now, but the icons are still too small. I meant an .obt theme to install in the Openbox Configuration Manager with larger minimize, maximize and close button icons.
I installed some themes from http://box-look.org/, but they are still quite small. So any suggestions are welcome...

What DOES 1920x1080 look like on that screen? Hmm. Well, you've described it. I just find it hard to see in my head.

the default buttons should resize themselves.
that means: go to the themes folder (usually in ~/.themes/mytheme/openbox-3.0 or /usr/share/themes...) and see if it has any .xpm files in there. if it has not, the theme uses the default buttons.
in other words: remove any .xpm files from your favorite theme.
