Can anyone point me to a Openbox theme that makes it easer to use from the couch using a wireless keyboard w/ touchpad?
I have a Crunchbang system attached via HDMI to my TV. I guess you can say I more or less use it as a HTPC (movies/streaming). I do not have a interest "XMBC" or similar options at this time.
My main issues are trying to click the X (close button) and trying to read the tiny text. I did change the "Font" size under "Appearance" in the "Openbox Configuration Manager" which helped but it does not change the font size on everything.
I found a couple of threads but they don't say anything about the close button
Thanks.

I found the another location: User Interface Settings
That seems to have fix 90% of the my issues.
But this doesn't help with the close button, X graphic...

The window buttons - close, max, min etc ... are bitmap files that come with the theme. You can resize them with gimp if you want. The width of the titlebar will not increase automatically if if you resize the buttons.
The openbox themes are usually in /usr/share/themes or ~/.themes.

Sometimes changing the dpi (dots per inch) helps with larger monitors (like TVs). Search the forum for "dpi" (use the magnifying glass at the top right of the screen).
Some topics to get you started:

PackRat & porkpiehat, thank you.
It didn't even cross my mind to try looking up the path for where the theme paths were and seeing what was there. Also same for for "dpi"...

You're welcome. How did you finally get it working?

Well, I am still working things out as I catch them. Changing the font size helped the most and I am still working what size to use.
On another note, as of lately I have thinking to myself that maybe I should go see an optometrist. Sometimes the default text with max resolution (1920x1080) at my desktop has been getting slightly blurry but then again glancing around the screen everything stays clear... *shrug*
