CD/DVD drive won't eject!

Ok, so I hit the button to eject my CD/DVD drive on my laptop, and get this error:

Failed to eject "/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/storage_model_DVD_RW__DVRKD08".
Given device "/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/storage_model_DVD_RW__DVRKD08" is not a volume or drive

Re: CD/DVD drive won't eject!

I think it should be ejected as a device. Something like

sudo umount /media/cdrom0

Mine wont eject untill i will right click on the cd-rom icon and select "Eject Volume"

Try rebooting.

What I do if use a file manager (convenient for me since I usually have one opened - I don't speak for others).  Right-click the CD/DVD icon on the
left side and click "eject".
