I installed crunchbang yesterday and i am still configuring the OS the way i want. But when i booted up the machine this morning and clicked on the link for crunchbang forums (crunchbang.org/forums/), the forums site opened up with a white background, black text and blue links. Where or what have i done? Would prefer to have the traditional look (black) back but is still too early in the morning for an old geyser like me to think straight. Help anyone please.

It seems to be the CSS of the site did not load properly. I don't know what could be causing this though.

It's a usual clitch, happenes every now and then. CSS-stylesheet defines the looks of a web page. Sometimes it is not downloaded to your browser and then you see the contents in default HTML style. Refreshing the page (press refresh button in your browser or F5 on your keyboard) usually returns the looks.

If refreshing the page doesn't work, you might have to quit & restart Iceweasel. I had one particularly nasty instance that wouldn't go away until after I had cleared my browser history. This happens to all of us occasionally; most unpleasant if your eyes, like mine, don't respond well to a sudden glare of white.

I am running Iceweasel-27.0.1 and i have as suggested pressed the F5 button, refreshed the page, cleared out the browser history and restarted the browser but unfortunately nothing has changed. Could it be that Iceweasel is to blame itself?
Shall install another browser and see how that handles CSS.

Before you install another browser, perhaps one of your add-ons is doing problems? It is easy do disable temporarily add-on and see which one might be responsible.
Also, you may go to 'Preferences-Content-Colors' and see if 'Allow-pages-to-choose...' is checked.

Success!! I did as iMBeCil suggested and disabled all of the browser plugins one at a time until i found the culprit which was, Adblock Plus.
Thanks for all the replies everyone as they were all really appreciated.

^Glad it worked.
Apparently, at one point you told AdBlock to block some CSS ... and it continued blocking #! forum's CSS, too.
