Hello

Hi,

I am new to #!. I have heard of it as a distro in the past but never dug any deeper really. I'm looking to re install my desktop system so I've been checking out a few new (to me) Linux distros. I downloaded the live CD and got it up and running and installed on a virtual machine to test drive things a bit and so far I think I'm liking #! However, I'm still undecided on what will become my primary OS for daily use.

I registered and am posting here to see if I can't at least get a feel for the community, and maybe even meet some people behind it. Also if possible and welcomed, I can try and contribute in some way as well.

Re: Hello

Well, first things first: Welcome to the CrunchBang forums.

If you're undecided, that's good. It's best that you try a lot of distros and see which one suits you best. That's the key to Free/Open Source Software success, and if it's CrunchBang, great! If not, no big deal.
