problems with mounting

hi, ii'm new to crunchbang. atm i have a dualboot, ubuntu with ext4 and a third partition with fat32

as i suggest, automount works like ubuntu, so i will write everything in my etc/fstab, but atm i can't mount them by clicking in my browser

first, there's just a stop-sing, when i push ok, there is another one, also without text. after the second ok, there comes again a stop-sign but also a "error" as title and a "directory doesn't exist" as buddy.

is there a package i need to mount these devices?

thx alot

Re: problems with mounting

Instead of "defaults", try putting "errors=remount-ro,users" and see if you can then mount and write to the drives.

Re: problems with mounting

I had some issues with pcmanfm & NTFS mounting, but maybe this apply here also.
http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/topic … nfm-fails/

I'd give thunar a try

apt-get install thunar
thunar &

my two cents
