No pipemenu after installing Wine

Hi,
So I have encountered my first problem : P

I've got 64 bit Waldorf installed.

After installing wine, i've tried to run something - and a window appeared saying:

window wrote:

"this is only a dummy package, wine doesn't support 64 bit, install 32 bit"

(i can't remember exactly). In the window there were instructions to run:

dpkg --add-architecture i386
apt-get update
apt-get install wine-bin:i386

so I "blindly" executed above commands with sudo.
Now I've noticed when I put cursor over Recent files/Places menu a window with error appears :

failed to execute child process cb-recent-files-pipemenu (no such file or directory)

so I've checked (with locate) that there was this file (is in locate database) but was deleted.
so in  /var/log/apt/history.log I've looked for 'remove' and the following packages were deleted:
(brak=none, I'd really like to revert to English translations...)

2013-07-03 19:18:52 startup packages remove
2013-07-03 19:18:54 remove cb-welcome:all 0.06 <brak>
2013-07-03 19:18:55 remove cb-pipemenus:all 0.13 <brak>
2013-07-03 19:18:55 remove gimp-plugin-registry:amd64 5.20120621 <brak>
2013-07-03 19:18:56 remove mesa-utils:amd64 8.0.1-2+b3 <brak>
2013-07-03 19:18:57 remove libglew1.7:amd64 1.7.0-3 <brak>
2013-07-03 19:18:58 remove libgtkglext1:amd64 1.2.0-2 <brak>
2013-07-03 19:18:58 remove libvisual-0.4-plugins:amd64 0.4.0.dfsg.1-7 <brak>
2013-07-03 19:18:59 remove obapps:all 0.1.7 <brak>
2013-07-03 19:18:59 remove python-wxtools:all 2.8.12.1-12 <brak>
2013-07-03 19:19:00 remove python-wxgtk2.8:amd64 2.8.12.1-12 <brak>
2013-07-03 19:19:02 remove libwxgtk2.8-0:amd64 2.8.12.1-12 <brak>
2013-07-03 19:19:51 startup packages remove
2013-07-03 19:19:52 remove wine64-bin:amd64 1.4.1-4 <brak>

so I've found these packages were deleted during wine-bin:i386 installation:

Did I do something wrong? What should I do to revert those changes?

========
EDIT:

So meanwhile I I've installed cb-welcome and cb-pipemenus. As of menu and wine, everything came back to "expected". Menu seems to work like before, and wine also runs with no errors, as does 'glxgears' (I've checked because I only remember that 'mesa-utils' is connected to some 3D things : P).
Did you also have such problems when installing wine?

Re: No pipemenu after installing Wine

Hello,

I've just registered on forum to say thank you!

After installing wine, I started to have the same issue with the menus. Before messing around I thought that something went wrong with openbox and made a logout/login. Things went a bit worst. The top bar was also gone.

"apt-get install cb-welcome" brought the additional packages as cb-pipemenus and mesa-utils. now everything seens to be working fine.

Thank you for your EDIT info.  smile
