nvidia gtx 670 help (solved)

Anybody use the gtx 670 w/ crunchbang?  I've always had a hell of a time getting nvidia proprietary drivers to work on other debian based distros....any suggestions? I have crunchbang 11 installed, but i would really like to use my GPU to it's capacity if i can....

Two things that would be really nice ... but not an obligation mind you ... is:

1. explain what you did to 'fix' it, others might be interested, and
2. edit your original post and add "[SOLVED] nvidia gtx 670 help" to the subject.

This made installing the nvidia drivers simple.  http://crunchbang.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=11900 worked with absolutely no issues.
