I'm new to these forums but feel like an old man. As I always just snooped this place. I was using #! on my netbook back in ~2007. (Back when you were based on Ubuntu) After I sold my netbook in ~2010, I never thought really to look back at you guys. As I really didn't need your speed for my beefy counterparts.
So another hello to #!
I've been using Linux for a good year straight now. Never looked back to Windows. Have been going between Ubuntu and Debian. Each has their own pros and cons. After I started to dislike Gnome and XFCE, I looked to Openbox. It was a little hard getting configured, but after I did it all, and asking one of my good friends for some help, he just pointed me to Crunchbang. I was like, yeah, I remember you...
I'm testing you on a separate hard drive atm, but you shall soon be on my Samsung 830 120GB SSD
System specs:
Main rig: ASRock Z77 Extreme 3 | Intel Core i5 3570K | G.Skill RipJaws X 8GB DDR3 1333 | 128GB Samsung 830 | 320GB WD Blue x2 | 1.5TB WD Black | XFX Radeon HD6870 | Corsair TX650 | CoolerMaster HAF 922 | Corsair 80i | Debian Wheezy 7
Laptop: Acer Aspire AS5750-6589 | i3-2310M | 8GB DDR3 1066 | Intel HD3000 | 640GB HDD | Debian Wheezy 7
So, without further adeu..
HELLO #!

Hi,
Same here. I have been using Crunchbang 10 on my netbook for quite some time and really enjoy the simple UI and speed. I started using Redhat for work, and slowly over time went to Ubuntu at home, followed by openSUSE (after the Unity garbage) and now to Crunchbang on my desktop. Hope to contribute something to this forum soon.
Thanks.
P.S.
How can I change my username? I botched it when I registered (supposed to be gforce6point0), and the site will not let me re-register with the same email address.

^ I'll change your username as you wish right away; hopefully you won't have too much trouble logging in after the change. (EDIT: Your name has been changed as requested.)
Welcome to CrunchBang, both!
