One guy who forgot his password, tried to recover it, only to discover that the mail account liked to his old crunchbang account was his long gone hotmail account

I have to say that, almost an hour ago, I downloaded waldorf, put it in a usb, and install it in my netbook that previously had statler, and WOW, it is freaking beautiful and fast!!!
Also I didn't had to look for the drivers of my wifi, waldorf is a batteries included OS!!
I didn't think I would say this, but I'm loving it even more than statler!

That was my feeling when I first installed Waldorf as well. Welcome to the community!
Regarding your lost password...I recommend installing KeePassX (in the repos) and use it for password management. It's cross-platform so you can use it in Linux, Windows, and OS X.

Welcome back into the community jsedano ( Superchompu).
I write my passwords into a smal notebook, otherwise when I re install on different machines, I wouldn't be able to remember all of mine.
Linux since 1999
