I'm a college-age developer from the United States, and have been an on-and-off Linux user for several years now. I've recently been jumping (again) from distro to distro and testing them out, and I must say that I am super impressed with Crunchbang. Streamlined and clean UI, no frills, and a great feel. Seems like a good environment for a developer.

Welcome to CrunchBang, djweber, from the United States as well. It is a good environment for a developer, and just about everyone else. Enjoy the distro!

Welcome djWeber.
As a fellow developer I agree.
When I'm at work, we use Windows (Oh the frustration at work, the bad performance on a "top of the line" computer), and I'm always distracted by either bad performance, some backgroundprocess/program wanting my attention for no good reason at all Windows update telling me that it will shut down the computer in 10 minutes, and other things.
These distractions stack up, but with #!, wow. It truly is a nirvana for developers. So peaceful, so beautiful. And you get so much done!
What I'm trying to say with my broken english is, Once you go crunch, you forget the rest of the bunch xD.
