wireless not working

I'm currently connected by wire, but I don't know how to set up my wireless connection.

I have only been using ubuntu for about a month then I thought I could handle arch linux but that was too big of a step for me.
I was able to install it but not to put some DE on it. Now I'm here. I'm noob, help!

I found this:

but I don't know how to install it. I extracted it but that's it.

I am very sorry if this has been posted before and it probablly was but I didn't find anything like mine.

Not tested:

sudo apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r|sed 's,[^-]*-[^-]*-,,') broadcom-sta-dkms
sudo modprobe -r b44 b43 b43legacy ssb brcmsmac
sudo modprobe wl

Reboot. Please post errors. A few errors are normal.  If no bad errors and after reboot there is no wlan please post

lsmod
sudo iwconfig -a

IT WORKS!! thanks

this is off topic and noob-like but if I don't ask now I'll be in trouble later...
in the first step on the debian page there was a # sign, that was a comment? right?
but in the second step there was also a # sign, but now that meant I needed root privileges i.e. I had to put sudo instead #?

Answer to noob question -
If you see a # as the first thing on a command line, it means as root user.
If you see a $ as the first thing on a command line, it means normal user.
Occasionally you may see a %, that is also the regular user's prompt.

I chose my language because it didn't found my location if I choose english... now I want to revert back to english but I don't know how...
