Adobe flash player blocked because out of date chrome

Okay like many other people with old hardware, I had to cobble together a fix to get YouTube to play. I pulled most recent Version 10 of Adobe Flash, put the files in place, and it seems to be running okay in Chrome.  Before it would play some videos and not others.

Now I get a prompt that says "adobe flash player blocked because it is out of date".  I can click Play Now or Update Plug-In.

If I click Play Now so far it seems to go ahead and play.  Basically, I'm wondering if clicking that Update Plug-In would bring me back to Version 11 and get me back to where I started.    yikes

Oops I posted to soon.  Most videos are playing in Chrome but a few are not.
