Since Waldorf has become the new stable release nothing is upgraded when I run sudo apt-get update / upgrade. I've been running Waldorf for many months and haven't done a fresh install.
This is my sources.list:

No need to re-install.
MAybe no packages have been updated for stable yet?
You should have received some updates for waldorf packages when it went stable.
bootinfoscript - emacs primer - wireless problems- I ♥ #!

I guess it's possible that no packages have been updated yet. I did an update four days ago (after Waldorf went stable) and did get lots of updates then. Will patiently wait for updates to come through

sudo apt-get dist-upgrademake any difference?#
edit: do you have a full backup before attempting an upgrade!?

Yes, I did try that. Didn't make a difference.
I got a backup script which I usually forget to run. Thanks for the reminder

If you want some updates, one option is to enable Debian-multimedia via adding to /etc/apt/sources.list
Backports will also give more choices for updating.
tzdata and locales will happen monthly I believe.
Jean Vanier wrote "Being Human" and "A Short History of Progress" by Ronald Wright. Gotta love the Massey Lectures.

I'm experiencing the same thing on my end, so there must not be any updates.

I had an update tonight! Just mysql, nothing else.
Patience is a virtue...

If you want newer packages without using testing or unstable repos, try using the backports repos. See my post here for instructions; http://crunchbang.org/forums/viewtopic. … 92#p309392

No updates yet since Waldorf went stable. Surely that's a good sign that Wheezy/Waldorf is indeed stable. No 100's of megs like with f or U (we don't wanna name names here) shortly after every release. I had an update for Firefox 21 from the Linux Mint repos though.
