Terminal Transparency Issue

Hi everyone! I wish to remove the gradient at the edge of the terminator window, as shown:

terminator issue

As you can see, the lateral borders of the window have a gradient of transparency. The transparency works flawlessly, but I find the gradient is extremely unappealing. Furthermore, I had not noticed the problem before messing around with the options of "Window Hint Geometry" and "Window Borders" in terminator's preferences gui. It is possible that I had never noticed it before, but I don't think that it's super likely. Additionally, the text file in the background is termintator's config. I ask you, crunchbang community, how might I achieve my aesthetic vision?

Re: Terminal Transparency Issue

What I did is changed clear-shadow value to true (in ~/.config/compton.conf).

clear-shadow = true;
