... that's it, I must know.
Why does every VSIDO screenshot in these threads have a giant VSIDO logo on the wallpaper?
I'd presume its because Vastone is the one that created VSIDO, and he's trying to promote it. The others that post VSIDO scrots here are presumably trying to help him promote it.
It would be a pretty freaking hilarious feature if VSIDO was watermarked on every scrot...

I'm still tweaking the theme, but it's pretty minimalistic and reminds me of the terminals that are at the ATM. I'm also getting lots better with Inkscape, and I like my little sketch enough to keep it on my desktop.
All of you guys have amazing desktops, and mine are all so simple ;_;

Please use thumbnails (please try to avoid the large thumbnail imgur.com code) linking to the larger image to help those of us with slow connections. An example of the code needed is below. Most image hosting sites will automatically generate this for you as well. Users have been using postimage.org lately which does a nice job.

Now that I have seen the screenshot thread at vsido.org I am reassured that it is possible to change wallpaper
. I will definitely test the distro when I get a new PC. I guess I wouldn't have found out about it if it wasn't for all the screenshots.

The VSIDO artwork seen here is by the users of the distro and is not a part of the logo or branding. It is simply users showing their designs
There is a simple orb logo on the install wallpaper that is easily changeable using nitrogen, the default background manipulator

Arch already does that, though it's more subtle.
The install process subliminally philosofaps the user into putting screenfetch or alsi output in every single scrot, complete with big distro logo.

New waldorf install on my work laptop that has been on statler for ages. I found the dropshadow a bit harsh, so I adjusted it to be a bit softer. You can see it around the feh window. Haven't done a lot of other customization yet... but I am toying with iceweasel for the first time in many years. I have to say the version of iceweasel that comes with waldorf is FAR better than what was available in statler. I don't like that you can't mouse-wheel through your tabs though... Maybe there's a plug-in for that... Voila! THERE IS! I love plug-ins!

@ Friendly Mod,
Wow, my apologies for posting my entire screencap in the thread. As opposed to actually reading all of the stickies, I simply threw on a set of mittens/began banging on the keyboard, and yelled, "Look at me: I can computering!" So, in order to avoid further embarrassment, I decided I'd take the time to actually read all of the stickies. There's some really useful stuff linked to in those...I should have done this sooner.
Once again, I apologize to anyone browsing this thread with a cell-phone tether, horrid connection, etc.

Not me! I don't even have screenfetch or archey installed!
Anyway, I've switched to Adwaita after a while on Flat Studio. It's a bit more complete as a theme, plus I'm now a complete gnomefag.

sevensage - I like the panel you've setup - that's a suite trick with the rounded bottom corners. Also, which OB theme is it?

Thing is, it's not Archey, nor Screenfetch, nor Alsi!
