X11 for VPS hosting

I'm going to buy a new VPS hosting package and checked it comes with no X11 graphical environment
I want to ask how to customize this VPS with minimum X11 just to support file manager and Geany ,as minimum as CrunchBang is or it is not visible to do so?

Re: X11 for VPS hosting

You may be able to do that if you can get some sort of remote desktop running.

You should be able to install X11 on a vps via yum, apt-get, rpm, or some other package manager, not gonna guarantee it will work though.

Looks like it might be fairly specific depending on your vps' operating system, check Google for something like "how to setup remote desktop (replace with OS name)"

That should get you some tutorials.
