#! newcomer from Brazil

Hello,

I am glad to be here:

I am a Physician in Brazil and since 2005 have been using almost exclusively Linux in my deskttop and laptop.

Tried some distros, but have always converged back to Debian. Now have a Piece-Of-Shit Positivo Laptop with a even Piecier of Shit Sis 671 video card and having to rebuild the X server from source every time Debian Testing updated. So was using Debian Stable (squeeze) for some time. Now my banks want the Oracle Java 7 , so I tried to install it (or OpenJDK 7 for that matter) and seems I was able to completely break the Debian Stable (yes, I am THAT GOOD).

Since I was on the need of a complete reinstall, thought I would try something more nimble, stumbled on #! ... and am hooked !! smile

See you guys in the foruns smile

Welcome to #!, CoolRabbit.
I am Brazilian too. I live in Ceará and I am a loyal user Debian. I have #! in my notebook. Unfortunately already own a notebook Positive. Never intend to purchase any product from this company.
