i want to show weather forecast on the tint, is it possible?

I don't use Tint2. But if it can display output from the console you could show it as text. Not sure if Tint2 has a plugin to do this though.

Some of us have put a one line conky and tint2 to the same edge of screen, search for conky threads. If all you want is just to have a weather forecast in a panel without extensive tinkering, use xfce4-panel instead of tint2 and add xfce4-weather-plugin to it. You can first try it without changing your config files: open a terminal and write
$ xfce4-panel &If it is not installed, install it and try launching again. If you are happy with it, change your ~/.config/openbox/autostart by replacing
tint2 &with
xfce4-panel &(Don't forget to backup the file before changing, just in case you break something.)
