Is there a way to setup a hot corner to show all my open windows, similar to the way Gnome 3 does?
you mean like this? http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/topic … -snapping/
If you wanted, you could use cairo-compmgr and its mosaic plugin to select windows. You could use the cb-hotcorner script thing to trigger it.
i'm using skippy-xd for that expose effect... (with cb-hotcorners to trigger it...)

Has anyone happened to figure out how to get skippy running on amd64? There seem to be CARD32/CARD64 issues on amd64 with skippy and, while I'm pretty comfortable with Linux, I'm no X wizard.
Here is the bug, reproduced alive and well in Feb 2013 on my laptop:
sdv@deepthought:~/bin/skippy-0.5.0$ skippy X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) Major opcode of failed request: 2 (X_ChangeWindowAttributes) Resource id in failed request: 0x0 Serial number of failed request: 112 Current serial number in output stream: 114
As I think this (if only it worked) would be an elegant way to finagle expocity-style window effects in combination with Philip's sweet cb-hotcorners hack, but am unwilling to install any sort of cairo bloat, I'd be most grateful if someone were to figure out just how to make this thing stop buggin'.
I'll wait a few days and see what the #! hivemind thinks. I've tried everything I know and nothing works. #! needs something like this -- and I'm certainly not installing freakin' metacity, just to get hotcorners that expose windows!
Thanks in advance.
