A new member has joined the ranks of all the rest

that is. FIRST POST =3

Anyway, I am Zyros, TheDarkFenrir and I am glad to meet all of you here
Now I am still what i would call a Linux 'newb' because i don't really know anything about it, however i do really want to study more on it and i have tried other distros and know enough to install apps and make a suitable Linux environment (SUSE studio) as well sa work with some games to get it up and running

Basically, ive tried
#!
Ubuntu
Kubuntu
Netrunner
Fedora
Arch
and a few others i cant recall..

Over all i somewhat love Debian, and seem to not be able to get off it

To make a short story, i started out with Linux when i first optained my Laptop (Toshiba L305-S5955)
Not to hate on windows (meh..) but It had vista basic and no networking support (other than basic printing and internet), so i got annoyed with it and tried so many different methods to get get it working. Somehow i ended up trying ubuntu 9.04 and everything on my system worked out of the box and it felt like the old days when XP was popular. On top of that everything was there, easy to use and i loved it. As ubuntu progressed, in my opinion its updates got worse and worse (after 10.10..) so i jumped distros trying different ones and eventually ended up here after a bit of trial and error. I ended up coming to #! from distrowatch listing all the latest distros and this one was on the top page so i nabbed it in the library and tested it and enjoyed it greatly.

Now then as for computing experience, I want to be something in the world of technology, like I.T, thus the reason why i want to learn Linux greatly. I would try learning Mac however i do not have OSX nor a Apple PC. Another fun fact, I tend to side with Linux more on tasks than Windows, however due to a certain driver limitation(and i cant compile for my life..) i cant use linux on my main machine currently (which i hope to fix here!).

Speaking of machines, I have four (two with me) And I am also a AMD user (i do use intel, but side with AMD alot more on certain things, and its cheaper..)
Current Rig. = Custom built
AMD A10-5800K (@4.4ghz and IGP @ 1ghz)
8GB RAM
64GB SSD (which is windows only for the moment)
1TB HDD
800GB HDD

Second PC i use for blogs and testing
Acer Iconia tab W500
AMD C-50 APU
2GB ram
Touch screen! (which has issues when using #!)

Laptop (basically a server)
Toshiba L305-S5955(just click the link above for it)
Ubuntu 12.10 w/ KDE GUI

And my backup unit
Foxconn Nettop PC
AMD Fusion E-450 series APU
4GB ram
250HDD
Ubuntu w/KDE GUI

TL:DR version
I am a minimalist
#! has everything i use and like
Hai all, and nice to meet ya
and i like I.T stuff

The more the better I always say.  I have so many computers I cannot count.  Several running, several in various states of disrepair, and boxes/buckets of components/pieces.
