corrupted font in programs titles [SOLVED]

Hello

Recently I've came across to this problem. In some programs (qbittorrent, vlc..) I've encoutered this bad font issue in program titles.
I am using font Terminus size 9 and I love it.
Anyone got any ideas?

VLC and qBittorent are using the QT toolkit which handles fonts differently. What happens when you use a different font (like Liberation or DejaVu)?

Well, ty for your response. It's clearly a mistake of this terminus font. Clearly it wont work. Dunno why. Do you know any other minimal font like terminus I could use instead?

Re: corrupted font in programs titles [SOLVED]

You're welcome. Terminus is a bitmapped font but I don't know if that's the issue. I do remember a truetype font that looked pretty similar but- ummm... don't remember what it's actually called. :p Maybe someone will jump in with recommendations.

There's also some fixed-width font examples here: http://www.lowing.org/fonts/
in case you see anything you like. Also if you try another bitmapped one and it's misbehaving it shows that the issue is with font type and not the specific font.
