Tint 2 Lock Icons

Is there any way to lock the icons on the tint bar? I've changed position to bottom and every now and then, icons seem always moving to the left..

This is a known issue with tint2 and xfce4-power-manager; it's been patched in the most recent version, but I'm not sure if it's available in Statler/Squeeze.

*sigh*. Should I try the waldorf image then? I was always a little bit hesitant in regards to the testing branch. Stable + BPO seemed ideal at the moment, but I guess having a testing image around that supports newer hardware shouldn't be that bad?

Well, you could wait another two months or so for Wheezy/Waldorf to be released as Stable, or you could install it now - its feature set and packages are pretty well locked down at this point - and beat the St. Patty's Day rush. wink

A rolling Crunchbang distro would be definitely awesome.. Not too sure if Sid is a good idea though for a daily usage system..

Re: Tint 2 Lock Icons

I use Sid in daily use. No problems, but then, I haven't been using Sid that long, and also have Siduction, and then BBQ as buffers. I guess right up before the freeze Sid is actually pretty 'stable' for something inherently unstable. I'm on Arch at the moment, so will no doubt have some fun here, and learn a lot through the suffering. If everything is backed up then I feel safe (ish).

Re: Tint 2 Lock Icons

@tux_drummer:  I'm sorry, but at what point in this thread did I suggest a rolling CrunchBang release?  (Mind you, I've entertained the idea in other threads, but the last time I posted on that was several months ago.)  I was recommending the soon-to-be-stable Waldorf/Wheezy; nothing more, nothing less.
