Iceweasel/FF 17.0 logout problem

Hi,

I'm a new user of #! linux and I really like it. It's fast, lightweight, debian-based distro and it totally suits my needs... but recently I've experienced an annoying problem. So I wonder, if anybody experienced it too and have possible solution (hope that similar thread doesn't exists here or I'm blind as a bat smile).

In Iceweasel (or FF 17.0 installed from linux Mint's Debian repo) when I drag the mouse on either any button or link on any webpage I get instant log out (or session reset? I don't know how to call it correctly). All applications are shut down except Tomcat 7 on localhost which was started from Eclipse IDE. Even when using dual monitors the setup is reset.

I try to avoid dragging mouse but sometimes I just have to do it. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

Thanks

Re: Iceweasel/FF 17.0 logout problem

Can you try this with nothing else running, i.e., close Tomcat, Eclipse, etc?

If things work normally, then you need to figure out what these programs might be doing (messing your tint2 setting, etc).
If things don't, then I don't know - bad installation???

When I drag holing a mouse button I
- copy (for pasting) if left button
- nothing if middle scroll button
- pop up a menu if right button.
