Hello, I am new to this forum and I'm trying for the first time this distribution
I come from the experience of Ubuntu and I hope to be able to configure (and use) the system.
because in the meantime I have to work and have different configurations and documents on ubuntuone, you can configure it on chrunchbang?
thanks

Googling around tells me it might be possible but using Ubuntu packages with Debian will eventually break your system. I wouldn't recommend installing it.

I have also searched in the past when first installed, but understandably no go. Looked for a webdav as well, but no either. there are so many more options though.
minus - 10 free gigs. Linux client
box - 5 free, but you can find 25 or 50 free. Webdav
dropbox - client
wuala - client
spider oak -client
there's a couple others, can't remember at the moment.
I guess what I'm saying is although it would be nice, as I have stuff on U1 too, don't let that be your deciding factor on whether to use #! as your distro. I'm glad I didn't.

Two month ago, I settled my stuff to an owncloud server. There are many good features like webdav, caldarv, carddav, link sharing to third parties and a strong community behind. Carddav (Contact sync) and Caldav (Calendar sync) works great with Thunderbird 15 (with two plugins), and you are independend from Google, Microsoft, Dropbox, or other commercial provider. I don't want to share my personal data, or the data of my friends, family and business with these companies.
There are some providers out there, if you don't want to use an own root or virtuell server. Some of them provide small free (2-5GB) accounts for testing: http://owncloud.org/providers/
And the best: It is open source.

If you use a webdav provider, you will never have problems like this. Do yourself a favor and think about it.
