Hi all!
Been using #! for a while now to keep my trusty Eee701 snappy. Only registered to post a screenshot; I've had no trouble so far finding technical solutions just by lurking. Kudos to the community on that!
Eee+#! is a fantastic combo for traveling: fast enough for anything I need it to do (thanks to #!), well-euqipped for legacy connections, unassuming enough that no one tries to steal it, and worthless enough that I don't care much if someone does.
#! is also my first Linux install whenever I multiboot a PC. Though I'll have to admit that when I've got some power in the box, I have a hard time leaving W***s behind. But it looks like MS and Apple are getting as crazy with the UIs as certain of the big distros are. So who knows what the future brings, eh?
I'm living in TO for now, but I left my heart on the West coast where I grew up.

Welcome aboard Treefingers. "....no trouble so far finding technical solutions just by lurking..." I've been around here since 2008 and that method is still working for me too.
Edit: +10 points for creative abuse of #! in your post in Artwork & Screenshots.
