[Solved]Gray box in Openbox

I'm having an issue I can't resolve. Maybe it's the script. Not sure. 2 out of 5 times, when I run this script

I get this grayed out area on the top left of my screen. It just stays there till I logout. Anyway to fix this?

Vlc runs fine and all but that box irritates me a lot and it overlays other windows.

By the way, I'm running Openbox on Waldorf.

I had this issue once after a fresh install. Restart Compton fixed it for me. Never had it again after reboot.

Thanks, that worked

I restarted the compositor but was still able to reproduce the gray box after a few tries. I just rebooted and I'm on my 20th try, NO gray box
