Hey there
I have been using linux for a little over a year now and I am getting an extra laptop ready to solely run a lightweight distro of linux and decided to go with crunchbang. I made the recent change to linux because I'm a CS/EE student and currently am learning to program in a lot of different languages along with learning all the in's and out's of computers and operating systems. Since I first started using Linux with Ubuntu a little over a year ago, I have essentially stopped using the Windows side of my pc completely in favor of an array of Linux distros as I am constantly seeking for the best lightweight distro for me. Crunchbang is my first openbox type distro as well.

hi Mr Clap, welcome to the community! in case you want to learn bash, check out the link in my signature for a big list of bash-links. if you want to learn Python, i recommend you go with the 'Learn Python the Hard Way' free PDF, which is great (and not so hard as he makes you think..)
hope that helps in some small way. if you have questions, just ask them, there are lots of people here who program in bash, python and various other languages, and they'll be more than willing to help you out.
