The article says he was a"resident", so I guess it's the former.
Neither age nor malfunctioning bowel control would get in the way of his dream.
Now that's what I call a chemist!!

Those are the funniest reviews I've ever read. Fake reviews are great, but this just had me really laughing out loud at work guys!

From National Geographic Just weeks before the Titanic shipwreck's hundredth anniversary, scientists have a brand-new theory as to what might have helped spur modern history's most famous maritime disaster:
R.M.S. Titanic went down on a moonless night, but the iceberg that sank the luxury liner may have been launched in part by a full moon that occurred three and a half months earlier, scientists say.
That full moon, on January 4, 1912, may have created unusually strong tides that sent a flotilla of icebergs southward—just in time for Titanic's maiden voyage, said astronomer Donald Olson of Texas State University-San Marcos.
Unusually high tides may be to blame for the slew of icebergs loosened at that time.
Even at the time, spring 1912 was considered an unusually bad season for icebergs. But figuring out why this happened has been a mystery.
Olson believes the iceberg boom was the result of a rare combination of celestial phenomena, including a "supermoon": when the moon is full during its closest monthly approach to the Earth.

I couldn't help but notice that Rock luminaries like Little Richard, Fats Domino, Chuck Berry, and Jimi Hendrix were omitted from that study.
EDIT: And where would Sir Paul's "Blackbird" fit? I smell researcher bias.

I smell researcher bias.
I couldn't agree more. Also, I know guys who are racist as all hell even though they listen almost exclusively to Lil' Wayne and other gangsta' rap.
I've ignored every "study" (IMO, usually research paid to achieve a forgone conclusion) since those egg studies years ago. Every month the verdict changed as to if they were good or bad for you.
There's one out now saying that diet soda causes heart attacks. Oooooo, scary.

The egg came first, not the chicken.

@pvsage, the egg came long before, but it was a dinosaur egg.

Check this out... You guys heard about this yet?
EDIT: This video seems very compelling, until you look into the evil of the Invisible Children Inc. "charity" group. Apparently, they only donate 31% of profits to charity! And they are trying to get everyone to donate like $15-20 minimum. The kicker..Kony hasn't been seen doing anything since 2006! They have taken something so powerful and turned it into a multi-billion dollar scheme. They are on Watchdog lists as being a shady charity group because they also do not allow their funds to be audited. hmmm

Online typewriter museum is well worth the look and the time spent scrolling through it. Mr. Martin says
All of the typewriters on this page are owned by me, but are only on public display virtually through this Web site. The typewriter collection contains over 120 typewrites from 23 manufacturers spanning the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, from at least ten countries (United States, Japan, China, East Germany, West Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, England and the Nethelands). The museum contains at least one typewriter from each decade since the 1880s. Several of the typewriters and Mr. Martin were on the History Channel television show Modern Marvels episode called "Retro Tech" which originally aired on December 19, 2008. Typewriters were quite expensive when new, sometimes exceeding the equivalent cost of a laptop computer today. They are also very finely crafted and cool machines. While many are quite old, a lot of typewriters were sold and they were made to last. Therefore, old typewriters are still quite plentiful and hence most of them not very expensive. Most of my typewriters were acquired for under $20 each. I obtain most of them at local garage or estate sales and a couple from thrift stores or eBay. Some of the earlier and more unusual typewriters are valuable, however. Looking on eBay and reading books also reveals that some rare typewriters can sell for thousands of dollars.
