Dual monitor detection broken on Statler 201202 edition?

Previous installs with Statler 201102 and 201111 worked with dual monitors flawlessly.

Not a huge deal... using 201202 on my netbook and 201211 on my desktop :-)

I stand corrected: It would appear that only the bpo versions of the 201111 and 201202 distros support dual monitors out of the box (at least for my multiport ATI/Radeon card).
