Netbook Wallpapers

I'm running #! on my little Acer Netbook and it's pretty sweet! So today I was bored and cranked out a few wallpapers. They are at the common 1024x600 Netbook screen rez. Thought I'd share with other #! Netbook users.

These are all variations on the same theme. I just played with different textures and lighting. The ones on the left have smaller text, offset so as not to overlap with Conky. The ones on the right have larger, centered text.

Let me know what you think.

PS: I didn't make the Debian background. I found it here (click). Props to whoever created it.

Re: Netbook Wallpapers

I like the blue marble one.  It looks minty.

Re: Netbook Wallpapers

Thanks. My favorites are the downward facing marble, and the darker wood. Can't really decide which I like better. I experimented with some stone and metal textures as well, but couldn't get the lighting right.

I also considered separrating the Crunch "#" and the Bang "!" with the name in between, but I wasn't sure if that would be considered blasphemy. Here's what it looks like in blue marble.

So what do you all think of that?
