Wow haven't thought of Canned Heat in ages. My dad had a few of their LP's and I used to play Future Blues all the time just because it had this crazy astronaut cover. Wonder If I have it around here anywhere...

I'm listening to the soundtrack of Repo! The Genetic Opera, specifically the track Night Surgeon.
If you haven't seen the stage show, or the movie I really recommend you check it (or the soundtrack) out. It's got Nivek Ogre (that's right from Skinny Puppy), Bill "Otis" Moseley, Paul freakin' Sorvino, and even Paris Hilton, yeah and she doesn't suck in this.

I think this movie proves that Paris can't act either. I'm curious - did you find this from my earlier post of Seventeen?
I'm also wondering if this movie was written specifically to create another Rocky Horror Picture Show; it certainly has that kind of feel.

^Had not listened to that album in a long time, it were much better than I remembered. So why not I thought, so now; "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" Pink Floyd. Very typical for it`s era but much better than a lot of other stuff from the same period, and there is even a song called "The Gnome"

Nope, believe it or not I haven't read through the previous 140 some pages.... I had few friends who managed to see the live production when they were on vacation and they wouldn't shut up about it till I at least checked out the soundtrack. It was intriguing enough to make me track down the DVD and I've wanted to become a surgeon ever since!

@ethrg: Wow, odd synchronicity then; just a few days ago, one of my co-workers saw the DVD with a couple friends (apparently they thought it was crap; he thought it was WIN) and has been quoting Zydrate Anatomy at work. I had seen the movie shortly after it came out on video (I think the Repo Man action flick was in theaters
) and when my co-worker said "The Zydrate comes in a little glass vial" it took me a while to remember where it was from.

Personally I cant stand Piper, I actually think one of the best things to happen to Floyd was Syd to vanish and Dave "Guitar God" Gilmour replace him. Everything from Saucerful to The Wall is absolutely amazing in my eyes (or ears), post Waters Floyd is something I try to avoid also.
