I've been looking to breath some new life into an aging Socket 478 P4 box, and possibly build a light, fast, and green MiniITX rig sometime in the near future, and this distro seems to be perfect for either application. Everything works OOTB, three solid days uptime and my ATI 9600 pro hasn't locked the screen up once, something that has never happened on this box with any other distro that I have thrown at it.
Now if only I could figure out how to make the screen resolution settings persistent ...

Regarding your screen resolution, I am unsure of your exact problem, but if you are talking about having to manually set-up your resolution at the beginning of each session, you could try: http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/post/6030/#p6030 ?
