New + Installs

Hi, first off i want to say that i'm new to crunchbang big_smile and i already love it.
But i'm kinda a noob so i have a few question if people would like to help me big_smile

Nautilus
I'm trying to install nautilus but when i installed it and tried to run it, nothing happens?
Can anyone explain me why nothing shows up?
nautilus shows up in the processes but nothing happens

Do you get any error messages when you run that command in a terminal?

When i type nautilus in terminator it doesn't show error only a flickering thingy where i can type

Try these commands in a new terminal after following corenominal how-to that stops nautilus taking over your desktop.

pkill nautilus
nautilus

i added those lines mentioned in that other post
did your commands
but still, nautilus isnt showing anything

I fixed it

had to delete /usr/bin/crunchbang/nautilus and restart openbox
