[SOLVED]How to automatic start Google Chrome?

I like to know how I can confige Crunchbang that when i starts I will have autostarted Google Chrome on my dirst desktop.

And how can i auto highd the upper pannel - with the loudspeaker, clock etc?

And wy I am not able to install

sudo apt-get install youtube-dl

Hi!

You should edit the ~/.config/openbox/autostart file. Insert the next line there:

google-chrome &

Then the chrome will start after you logging in.

The youtube-dl package isn't in the repos what are came with crunchbang. You can download it from http://rg3.github.com/youtube-dl/ manually.

The youtube downloader works. The autostart of Google Chrome I will try when a make a reboot, after a finisch my work.

Edit tint2.rc (desktop right click - settings - tint2 - edit tint config file)

# Panel Autohide
autohide = 0
autohide_show_timeout = 0.3
autohide_hide_timeout = 1.5
autohide_height = 6
strut_policy = none

change autohide = 0
to autohide = 1

save, exit, restart tint2
