Ah, but the Save Ferris lyrics are about a Jew awaking on November 1st and dreading the Christmas season! (Practically none of the original lyrics remain from the Waitress' song.) Besides, with the cover's bass line, it's hard not to skank to this song, and skanking is almost always a good thing.

I had to look up 'Skanking'
First time I heard it called skanking, I had to look it up too. (I think the exact phrase was "in Rory's room, skanking to Rancid".) It ain't the Aussie Shuffle (you might need to look that up too) and certainly ain't nearly as impressive to watch, but it sure feels fun.

When I was a teenager it was headbanging. Then I moved onto goth and had to learn the 'dropped my fiver' move and walk back and forth a bit. Then it was feet firmly planted and all sharp elbow movements for the ebm/futurepop scene. That's the extent of my dancing knowledge

RE: Aussie Shuffle
See I had to look that up, YouTube gave me a couple of examples. HEY and old guy could do that for exercise!!
... but my wife started laughing so hard I had to stop and show her the video. According to her I looked nothing like that.
She obviously missed what I saw in my mind.

Random stuff via Clementine.... Currently Whitesnake Looking for love.... big hair lycra rock
.
Coming up soon Megadeth, Crash Test Dummies, Lou Reed, Rob Zombie and Miles Davis.... Dynamic playlists rock
PS they are all Flac and yes I even have a "mp3 player" that plays flac, so no trouble there. My main pc is connected to my hifi and is my primary source of listening to music. I have a m-audio audiophile soundcard which sounds pretty decent (okay not quite as audiophile as the name suggests, but really good for an amateur set-up). Wow do I waffle
