I am using a a theme right now that is pretty much all black. I love it until I step outside to get some fresh air and can barely see what is on my screen. I dont want to have to change it, but I hate having to turn my screen brightness just to be able to see.
I just was wondering if there is a shortcut to change the theme to a lighter one that is more sun/glare friendly. Thanks.

Or click the eye in the upper left corner of your screen to toggle between a light and dark setup. And no, I'm not following you -- I'm retired and have too much time and not much to do.

That's OK. Now it's my turn to say I'm sorry as I don't understand so I'll back out now. Take care.

You could install a new, lighter, theme and swap to it (using Settings->Appearance) when outside. Have a look at http://xfce-look.org/ for some more XFCE themes.

I already know how to change themes I was wondering if I could do it with say a shortcut...
I figured it out and now I can change the wallpaper, tint2, conky, window theme, etc with just hitting either "super c" or "super v"
Heres some screen shots. I have already changed the conky and tint2 on 2 different themes but they dont show in the pics
