Hello #!

Just installed crunch on a semi-old laptop for school, and I am in love.

Simple. Functional. Stable. Delicious.

Previously, in an effort to broaden my GNU/Linux knowledge, I was using Arch...it was fun and the Wiki is absolutely brilliant, but I need something more stable for my schoolwork. So here I am.

Hopefully I can contribute to this awesome community and continue learning (I am such a neophyte). From the bit I have lurked, you all seem pretty chill cool

Re: Hello #!

Welcome to #! smile

If you liked the rolling distro effect of Arch, you can get something like it by switching from stable to testing  Debian repos... Just wait for holiday first.

Re: Hello #!

Wow.  All these new members with food names is making me hungry!  And there's Jim's coffee cup again!  As some old timers down my way say: Draw up a chair and set a spell.  wink

EDIT -- typo.  short sentence.  bad.

Re: Hello #!

And there's another introduction we've rat-holed. Sorry, applefritters.

Can't say that we're not fun to be around, though...
